Teaching, Training and Assessing

Teaching History

Taking a passion and sharing it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I began teaching at Peterborough College in the Media department and then in the Photography department. During this time I taught NVQ L2 and L3.

From there I joined an apprenticeship company where I trained apprentices in Photography, Video Creation, and Web Design. When the Frameworks changed I developed and trained on the Junior Content Producer apprenticeship, Digital Marketing, and The Fundamentals of Coding.

I currently assess Junior Content Creator and Photographic Assistant apprenticeships.

Teaching Qualifications

  • Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector(PTTLS)
  • Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS)
  • Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)

Training Opportunities

I still love to share and teaching photography and Photoshop is a joy. Using my own studio I can deliver theory and practical sessions.

I enjoy presenting and have been a part of the Adobe team at The Photography Show, delivered class training at Adobe and presented Photoshop techniques at photography clubs.
